Elisa grew up in a humble but respectable family in a small southern Italian town. A dedicated student, she eventually pursued nursing at a medical school. It was there that she encountered eco-activists whose ideals deeply resonated with her empathetic nature. After graduating, Elisa began working in a Naples hospital, where her patients adored her. Her adaptability and quick learning saw her excel in various roles—from general care and surgery to emergency response—all before she turned 22.
But Elisa’s life had another side. When her shifts ended, she became a crusader for change, taking part in covert and often risky eco-activism. Alongside her close-knit group of friends, she infiltrated labs to free animals, sabotaged illicit factories, and took bold action against environmental injustice. Those missions often led to clashes with heavily armed corporate security, where her medical expertise proved invaluable in treating injuries.
One pivotal mission at an ELS warehouse changed everything. Elisa’s team encountered Ádám Farkas, a seasoned security contractor hired to stop intruders. Though he succeeded, Ádám was severely wounded in the process. While her team fled, Elisa stayed behind, risking everything to save him. She managed to get Ádám back to her apartment, patching him up with the skills she honed in the hospital.
When Ádám regained his consciousness, he faced a dilemma. Contractually, he was bound to apprehend or eliminate Elisa, but instead, he offered her a surprising alternative: join the ranks of the Black Cats. Intrigued by the opportunity, Elisa chose to follow this new path and fully embrace her duality.
